Top ratings for sustainability management: Liveo Research’s pharma packaging sites awarded EcoVadis platinum and gold medals

EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of sustainability ratings, has once again awarded excellent ratings to the sustainability management at three global pharmaceutical packaging sites of Liveo Research.
Liveo Research’s USA site in New Castle, Delaware, achieved the prestigious platinum medal, ranking in the top 1% of over 100,000 companies evaluated globally by EcoVadis. Additionally, the pharma packaging sites in Boetzingen, Germany, and Singapore secured gold medals, positioning them in the top 5% of the global assessment. If only the plastics industry is considered, all three sites are even in the top 1%.
Liveo Research pursues a detailed sustainability strategy based on three pillars: “Planet, People and Products”. This strategic framework is implemented at all of the company’s sites, with separate targets, strategies and measures defined for each pillar. Their implementation is constantly monitored, with progress in the area of decarbonization, for example, being monitored by SBTi.
EcoVadis has now assessed the company’s progress in four comprehensive areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. This broad analysis reflects the equally broad-based sustainability strategy of Liveo Research AG and shows the wide range of progress made in detail.
