The Cards Solutions division of Liveo Research AG, headquartered in Castiglione Olona (VA), Italy, is one of the leading manufacturers of sophisticated materials for credit and ID cards in Europe, serving a global customer base in a market with particularly high demands on quality, customised solutions and delivery reliability.
The transaction will enable Liveo Research AG to focus more strongly on its future growth strategy in the Pharmaceutical and Specialty Packaging business segments.<\/p>


Dr. Carsten Heldmann, CEO of Liveo Research AG, said: “We are continuing to pursue our strategy of growing in the Pharmaceutical and Specialty Packaging business. We are investing heavily not only in our employees but new production facilities, innovations and sustainable product solutions. With this in mind, we are also building new production sites around the world with the overall goal of providing the best possible service and support to our customers. The sale of the Cards Solutions division is an important milestone for us. As for the future of Card Solutions, I am very pleased that we have found a new home for this profitable business in the DUBAG Group.”<\/p>


Liveo Research’s production site in Delaware (USA) manufactures some products for the card market, but primarily produces for the pharmaceutical packaging business. Therefore, this site is not part of the sales transaction. However, DUBAG and Liveo Research AG have agreed on a comprehensive Manufacturing Service Agreement to ensure that there are no changes for the international customer base in the card business.
DUBAG Group is a specialised investment advisory company based in Munich. It accompanies and manages private equity funds with a focus on the acquisition and management of companies in special situations, especially spin-offs and spin-offs from conglomerates.<\/p>
