Liveo Research is strengthening its focus on its “Medical Packaging Innovations” (MPI) business. In future, this division will operate in the market alongside the two established business units “Pharma Packaging Innovations” (PPI) and “Specialty Films Solutions” (SFS). It rounds off the company’s portfolio of offerings in the growing market for primary and secondary packaging for medical devices and aids.<\/p>

This business area has been strengthened not only in terms of staff, but also through a significant investment in a new multilayer extruder. Currently, thermoforming sheets are produced by MPI for the global market. Customers can choose from different polymer types, a varied section of raw materials and different colors. The films are manufactured using a multi-layer coextrusion process, which allows a high degree of flexibility for special requirements.<\/p>

In addition to the established materials and films in the thermoforming sheet sector, MPI will focus on expanding its development of promising film types for the future, including various sustainable sheet variants with different recycling contents and other options. MPI already offers some of these in its product portfolio and offerings will expand in the future.<\/p>

The company itself is not only a classic film supplier, but a system solution provider with a broad product portfolio that understands how to respond to customers’ special wishes and needs. Liveo Research also realizes innovative new developments in partnership with its customers.<\/p>
