Process / Value Stream Engineer (m/f/d)

Essentially, your responsibilities will include:

Perform and lead plant internal and interplant value stream mapping, derivateoptimization potential and implement them
Develop expertise in the manufacturing processes. Understand process capabilities through critical data analysis and in depth product understanding
Identify ways to reduce production costs and optimize lead-times / planning stability through KanBan systematics (MTO/MTS analysis) in collaboration with the S&OP/Planning project
Select and lead the implementation of Best Practices in Value Streams / Production processes across the group, incl. selection of the right IT tools
Investigate process complexity affecting Operations and develop lean manufacturing strategies to deploy into value-add focused operations within Production unit structure
Optimize working flows and processes (internal/external)
Bring "business" perspective to the different topics to challenge status quo thinking and accelerate towards Group ambitions
Liaise with multiple Operating Entities, Group functions to deliver stated targets in a fast-paced environment

You are the best fit for us if you have the following qualifications:

Completed studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering or logistics or comparable
At least 5-7 years of professional experience in the field of Process / Value Stream Engineering or comparable
Versed in Lean-Agile frameworks and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
High-level skills in project management and lean management/process optimization
Leadership qualities mandatory, which will include acting as mentor to their teams
LeadersTalented communicator, conversing with the team and with upper management
Very good English and German Language Skills, verbally and written
Very good IT skills; Routine handling of MS Office software, esp. Excel
Knowledge of the film, packaging or pharmaceutical industries advantageous
Ability to analyze a situation quickly and coordinate with the team to find a solution
Critical-thinking skills, Solution-oriented, systematic and structured way of working, high level of comprehension
Communication and cooperation skills, high ability to work under pressure
